Day Six Hundred and Fifteen - Steak Night!

Steak is always a delicious meal.  Since the weather has turned nice I have been antsy to get out on my grill.  I decided to grill for dinner tonight, and I went ahead and picked up some steaks.  I called my brother-in-law (because it's always good to eat steak with a bro), and Bekah made some amazing Zucchini and smashed (and broiled) some seasoned golden potatoes.  I always worry when I buy nice steaks that I won't grill them well, but tonight they turned out perfect.  The ribeye and one NY strip came out a perfect medium rare for Jeff, and the other NY Strips were medium-medium well for Bekah and the kids.  It was an amazing meal.

My calories overall were within my max calorie goal (which was a good thing), but I didn't eat breakfast and just snacked on unhealthy choices this afternoon.  I really do better when I have a routine.  My run today went well, but it was nearly 90 degrees outside.  I ran 4 miles, and then came in and put in another twenty-three minutes on the recumbent bike.  I need to do better with my food choices!
