Day Six Hundred and Forty-One - Proud Dad

The cold isn’t quite gone yet, but I’m getting back to normal. The hard part is waking up in the morning and still feeling pretty rough. After being up for a little while I start to feel better, and can get on with my day. Today I went out for a three to four mile run, but then Bekah told me that E had dressed herself in running clothes and informed her that it was because she was going to “run with Daddy.” She is five, and while she has tons of energy, running distance has not been something she’s tried so far. So I ran three full laps trough my neighborhood, and then told Bekah to send her out so she could finish the last 0.2 miles with me. She did fantastic. She wants to do it more, which I’d love so she can work towards a mile run.
My calories today were acceptable, but not great. I ate a couple of salty snacks (Cheez-its and Veggie Straws) that I didn’t need. I’ve been big on buffalo or BBQ chicken and spinach wraps for dinner lately. For lunch I had peanut butter on a banana and a Greek yogurt. I’ve never been into Greek yogurt, but I’m definitely a fan now!
